From Oct.11 to Oct.13, Dr.Arak Tira-umphon, Deputy Director of International Cooperative Education and Career Development Center of SUT, paid a visit to HUHST. Jiang Bingqing, Director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of HUHST, met with Dr.Arak Tira-umphon. They had a discussion on the cooperation between the two universities.

The two sides agreed that two universities have a lot in common in the setting of disciplines which makes a wide space for cooperation and exchange in terms of short-term student exchange and cooperation for teachers in teaching and research. Tuition fees for exchange students can be waived. The two universities can undertake joint education programs for undergraduates or postgraduates. During the discussion on cooperation and exchange in the field of agriculture and biotechnology, Xiang Guohong, Dean of the School of Agriculture and Biotechnology of HUHST, extended a sincere invitation to Dr. Arak Tira-umphon and said that teachers and students of SUT would be warmly welcomed if they came to HUHST to exchange and cooperate in the fields of weed control, plant cultivation and gardening.

Leaders from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the Agriculture and Biotechnology School of HUHST, Office of Teaching Affairs, Office of University-Enterprise Cooperation attended the meeting.
